Valentino Beauty Transforms Studio 54 for One-Night-Only Rendez-Vous in Ivory

The House’s Born in Roma 2025 Collection Debuts at a Glittering Celebration with Cher, Colman Domingo, FKA Twigs, and More

Valentino Beauty brought the disco ball back to life as it revived the legendary Studio 54 for the first time ever, transforming the iconic Manhattan address into a playground of elegance, individuality, and nightlife nostalgia to launch the Born in Roma 2025 Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection.

The reborn venue drew a kaleidoscope of guests spanning fashion insiders, cultural innovators, Friends of the House, and Studio 54 royalty—including Cher, Maripol, and Pat Cleveland—who shared the spotlight with new-gen Valentino Beauty faces like Adut Akech, brand ambassador Colman Domingo, and Nana, frontwoman of the label’s makeup campaigns. The glamorous cast also included Lenny Kravitz, FKA Twigs, Sophie Thatcher, Christopher Briney, Benito Skinner, Jemima Kirke, Tessa Thompson, Evan Ross, Lourdes Leon, and Rowan Blanchard.

At the heart of the revelry stood the Rendez-Vous Ivory Collection itself, dressed in sleek ivory and gold flacons—artful objects designed to celebrate self-expression as audaciously as the club’s infamous legacy. The Born in Roma Donna fragrance unfolded with radiant orange blossom and marshmallow accord, resting on vanilla and white musk. The Uomo counterpart added tension and warmth with sparkling bergamot, lavandin, and a sultry fireplace accord.

Adding to the debut were two new cosmetic heroes: Spike Valentino Ivory and the Go-Cushion Glow Ivory, building on the brand’s growing beauty empire with statement pieces as bold as the dance floor they launched on.

Guests roamed a dreamlike reimagining of Studio 54—complete with immersive lounges, golden bars, a glowing dance floor, and the Maison’s take on the club’s storied DJ booth. Performances spilled across the night like confetti: Violet Chachki took flight in a high-octane aerial act, Rollerena-inspired skaters drifted through the crowd, and chic cigarette girls handed out sweets. It was performance art meets perfume bottle.

Behind the decks, former Studio 54 legend Nicky Siano spun alongside boundary-breaking DJ Honey Dijon and emerging artist The Dare, channeling the spirit of the disco era into a soundtrack for a new generation. Studio 54 may not have been open for decades, but for one night only, Valentino Beauty made it pulse again—brilliantly, unapologetically, and unmistakably born in Roma.
